Selecting The Lot & House Style

Once you have decided to build a New Start, your first step is to select a lot and house style. Do you want a 2 Story, Ranch, or maybe a Split-Level. Your choice of a style could be dependent on the lot you select. Some models, due to size restrictions, may not fit on certain lots in the development you desire. Make sure you discuss this with your REALTOR. Also, the lot selected will dictate if you need a "left hand" or "right hand" house. These terms describe the location of the garage. A "right hand" house has the garage on the right side when looking from the street. If you want your Living Room or Family Room to be on the left side of the house, you have the opportunity to select a lot that will accommodate your needs.
