After graduating from Hamburg Area High School, Steve did as many new grads do, and began looking for a job, landing one with a local grocery warehouse. After ten years he decided he wanted to pursue a career where he could help people, preferably marrying his love of the outdoors with a career. So Steve headed back to the classroom and while working a full time, third shift job, he received a degree in Business Administration. Since entering the business in 1985 he has consistently striven to be the best. Steve has been a top real estate professional obtaining many local, state and national recognitions.

Ask him about the time a bear decided the perfect late night snack awaits in Steve's cooler, on his wife's very first camping trip! "I appreciate what the outdoors has to offer us." He says. "When I hunt, it's not just a sport to me. Spending time in the woods allows me to watch wildlife and listen to the sounds of nature. It's a peacefulness you can't find anywhere else." He believes this spirit and love of the outdoors must be handed down to our children. For this reason, Steve remains actively involved with today's youth. As a 4-H leader, he guides a wildlife group, in addition, Steve teaches turkey hunting to teenagers. "We have to keep the kids off the street, out of the shopping malls and away from the video games." He says.
