Follow-Up
It's
one thing to get an acceptable offer, it's another thing to get it
to closing. There will be inspections to be scheduled, appraisals
to be completed, title work to be ordered and any other conditions
of the sale that need to be met. Your Realtor and his or her support
staff will handle these tedious yet vital aspects of the transaction.
If a scheduled completion date is missed, this could cause the sale
to "fall through". Your agent and his or her staff should
keep you abreast of any and all developments during this process.
Typical times from Contract to Closing range from 30 to 60 days in
most areas. Check with your Realtor for times in your marketplace.
